Every project we take on starts with an initial phone conversation. This is an important step where we see if we might be a good fit before we decide to have a face-to-face meeting. This phone conversation lasts for about 15-30 minutes, and during this time we discuss the project, identify needs, and briefly go over our process.

By the end of the conversation, we both have a pretty good handle on what the project entails. Once we have determined that we are a good fit, the next step is the in-home consultation. 

Up to 2 hours  |  $400

For Langley, Surrey, and White Rock projects only. An extra fee of $75 per hour will be charged to travel outside of this service area.

Our in-home consultation is up to two hours and is an intensive session where we tour the home, and provide ideas for layouts, furniture, fabrics, window treatments, color palettes etc. We bring value to our client during the consultation; providing a lot of information customized for the space along with tips and resources.

At Studio Ash, the consultation is not just a meet-and-greet, and we’re not just there to gather information and take measurements. When we are hired for a consultation, we show up prepared and ready to work. Our two-hour in-home design consultation is a time to listen to whatever challenges you are having with the existing space, learn more about you and how you intend to use the space, and then we provide suggestions on how to proceed.

We can't possibly design a whole house in two hours, but the information we provide is actionable and is a great start to the project. Clients can either take the information we provide and do the work themselves, or they will have a pretty good idea of what we will bring to the table once they hire us to complete the project.
